The
Tesoro has an impressive view of the Marina and surrounding hills. However, it is located in an area that is heavily populated by touts and vendors. The touts gather on the Marina to catch the crowds from the cruise ships that pull into Los Cabos.
Rooms at the
Tesoro are basic. The beds, with a concrete base, are hard and uncomfortable. The bathrooms are worn.
Junior suite rooms have a refrigerator and a coffee maker, but no cutlery, dishes, microwave or cooker. The television in our room had some HBO channels, Fox News and Cinemax.
The
Tesoro pool area is a good place to escape vendors. Music is played throughout the day (country,RnB,pop). The pool is not heated, making it a good place to cool off. More disappointingly, the water in the hot tub is not heated.
Also, a young girl from web business called Cabo San Lucas used the pool area as her office. Laying on a sunbed using a mobile phone and hands-free set, she made endless debt collection calls for all to hear...distressing for many reasons.
