Tesoro Resorts Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
We became owners (timeshare) in 2004 and it has been a nightmare ever since. We have been hit with extra fees one after another since we purchased the timeshare. The resort has deteriated year after year, service is absoultely terrible, the food barely edible and just keeps getting worse. But our main complaint was in 2010 we tried to bank our week with RCI and the resort rejected it saying we owed another 354.24 in extra fees for the overrun cost of the lousy remodel in 2007. They emailed a letter we received in 2008 stating the cost overrun was $177.12 per unit which we paid in Feb of 2009 during our last visit to Tesoro.
Ironically we have several friends and relatives that are also owners there and none of them received a letter or billing with their maintenance fee bill saying anything else was due for the extra fees for the lousy remodel. It is also quite a coinsidence that the $177.12 from the rodel overrun times 2 is S354.24! They are crooks and we will not be staying at Tesoro ever again! We are also not going to pay any further maintenance fees.
